Photo 101 – A Pop of Color
A Pop of Color is easy on the hiking trails of Northern California. Wildflowers…
Or, berry flowers…
Or, California Golden Poppies…
Absolutely no artificial enhancement needed…
One funny thing that I noticed, all of the flowers are off center just a bit to the right. I wonder if that is because I use my right eye when lining up the shot with my Nikon D40?
Taken on the trails of Coal Creek OSP and Russian Ridge OSP in the Santa Cruz Mountains just west of San Jose/Silicon Valley.
On to the next assignment!
If you’re looking for me, I’m over the hill.
maybe because you’re subconsciously doing the “rule of thirds?” 🙂 pretty flowers!

Lovely 🙂 I chose flowers for a pop of colour as well 🙂

Colourful, varied and pleasing to the eye, loved the central placing of the images. Really makes the work a stand out and simple to boot.
