Today’s Thursday picture was taken almost one year ago today at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve in the Santa Cruz Mountains west of San Jose/Silicon Valley.
As you can see, it was a nice, rainy day. I was able to keep my faithful Nikon D40 fairly dry throughout this entire hike. I was also able to get some nice shots along the trail in the rainy weather.
I like hiking in the rain…as long as it does not get too windy. What about you?
We could use some more rainy days here in drought-stricken California.
Where are you hiking this weekend?
If you’re looking for me, I’m over the hill.
The photos are just fabulous! Your photography is amazing.
